As US Country Head, you will be responsible for building up the American market, our US team and go-to-market strategy.

As a country head, you will be responsible for leading all our activities carried out in the US.

Your Tasks

  • launching the market and developing a sustainable portfolio of clients: Win the first US customers in the retail, brand and B2B space
  • build up and manage the country’s sales, operations, business development and partnerships (backed by the German head office)
  • identify leads and opportunities and represent excentos at tradeshows and conferences
  • establish an aggressive US marketing and sales strategy in close co-operation with our CEO and marketing team
  • lead your professional services and consulting team
  • as the voice of the US customers and market specifics, you'll be in close contact with our CEO and Head of Product to align our tech and marketing roadmap
  • be responsibile for the budget and financial planning of our US branch

What we expect from you

  • a high-achiever mindset with outstanding entrepreneurial drive
  • strong ability to build up a solid sales pipeline within our target group
  • industry experience and strong network in the software industry, preferably eCommerce technology providers
  • extensive experience within the US market
  • experience in leading and building up teams focused on marketing, sales and consulting of software products
  • results driven character with a focus on reporting KPIs

Resources

The excentos head office will provide the following, in order to support your growth and development:
  • our Head of Sales will be your main sparring partner and resource for your onboarding, understanding of product/market fit, and helping you to sign the first customers
  • our marketing team (native English-speaking) will assist you in adjusting the commercial message and providing US marketing materials as well as deliver top social media campaigns, newsletter marketing and sales automation powered by our CRM
  • back-office functions, such as accounting and recruiting will be carried out by German colleagues
  • daily support from our CEO and Head of Sales for trade shows, conferences and major customer presentations throughout your first 18 months

Further information

In the short-term, location is flexible and you will be able to build up operations from homeoffice or in a co-working space. In the medium term and as we expand our US team, we plan to establish offices on the East Coast or in the SF bay area.
